See ye on Monday! Mag:Net Katipunan is located beside Rustan’s Supermarket, fronting Ateneo De Manila University and Miriam College.
Please don’t miss this show. This will be the last Manila performance for Shaina Tantuico (for now) before she leaves for Boston on Tuesday and grace the East Coast mics again. We love ye and we will miss you Shaina! (But please come back on December =)

This week, The Republic of Poetry takes on Makati as Bigkas Pilipinas holds its Open Jam in Toyz Cafe, this Wednesday, August 12, 2009, from 9pm onwards.
Brilliant acts from the high priestess of Spoken Word Kooky Tuason, jazzy new explosive pieces from poet and visual artist Raul Roco, Jr., and author-provocateur Siege Malvar’s up to no good.
With this year’s breakthrough performance poets Diego Dela Paz and Gwen Bautista.
Plus, an all-new Balagtasan from the Sus N’ Roses featuring Dako Cutab.
GP Abrajano’s on cheerleading duty.

See Ye Again on Aug. 6!
Big Thanks to everyone who went to the Bigkas Pilipinas Open Jam last Tuesday (28 Jul) at the two great venues, Conspiracy and House of Runes. It is so much fun to be all around happy and groovy people, who, amidst the bad weather laughed and cried in between our verses.
See you again on the 6th for another Bigkas Pilipinas Open Jam, this time we are the main event (Yey!) in Conspiracy, and because we are the main event, there’s a cover charge of 50 pesos. It’s a small amount to contribute to young Poets in order for us to launch more amusing projects in the future.
So show the love again on Aug. 6! I will update you guys with the line-up soon.

Friday Pimpin’ : Roles
Last week, I received my ITR from BIR and rolled my eyes for hours. If only tax money will be put to good use and not to ‘ill’ government use. Ahh, my suggestion is to give large sums of it to Artists (including myself) instead for all of our great projects that will conquer the world and the universe and probably, even the next lifetime.
Btw, here’s a book that should be exempted from taxes.
